Jodie Prenger Wins I'd Do Anything

Jodie PrengerActress Jodie Prenger has won BBC talent show I'd Do Anything, and has landed the role of Nancy in the West End musical Oliver!


Prenger, from Blackpool, who chose to perform Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing, burst into tears as host Graham Norton announced the winner.


"Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm so chuffed," the 28-year-old gushed.


Jessie Buckley, 18, came second in the competition, which was decided by a public vote.


Cameron Mackintosh, who will be producing the West End show, said he was "thrilled" for Jodie.


Both performers sang As Long As He Needs Me from the musical.


Jessie also sang The Man That Got Away in the live final on BBC One.


After the lines closed, the judges, which included Torchwood star John Barrowman, singer and presenter Denise Van Outen and musicals star Barry Humphries, revealed their preferences were split down the middle.


Andrew Lloyd Webber, who announced he preferred Jessie, said afterwards, "It was always going to be the people's choice."


Twelve Nancys started the BBC show, the third to select a musical star, following How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? and Any Dream Will Do.

Kidman confirms pregnancy reports



Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has confirmed that she is expecting a baby with her isaac Bashevis Singer married man Keith Urban.
The 40-year-old Aboriginal Australian star has pulled out of filming for her next moving picture 'The Reader'.
Kidman's publiciser, Wendy Day, confirmed the news in a statement, expression: "Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban confirmed today that they are expecting a baby. The couple are thrilled."
Referring to Kidman's decision to rive come out of her next picture, her publiciser said: "I understand she's had to adjourn from the celluloid and thus she's had to give them the reason, and therefore she's immediately able to confirm that she's pregnant."
"I don't know how far pregnant she is, or when the baby's due. She scarce just rang me and said, 'Wendy I always told you I would evidence you beginning, and I'd corroborate it and you could make the reserve announcement'."
Kidman and Urban married in 2006. The actress already has deuce adopted children from her wedding to doer Tom Cruise, 15-year-old Isabella the Catholic and 12-year-old Conor.
